Kirsten Estes is an actor based in Birmingham, Alabama. Currently a 
Senior at Auburn University, Kirsten is pursuing a double major in BFA Musical Theatre and Special Education. 


Originally trained as a dancer, Kirsten has worked in all types of dance since the age of 3. She trained with Alabama Dance Academy,  Studio 1, Dale Serrano Dance Studio, and The Pointe Dance Arts over a span of 13 years. She started diving into theater when she was 8 years old and played Patch in 101 Dalmations Kids at the Alys Stephens Center. Since then, she has worked with theatre companies such as Virginia Samford Theatre, Hoover High School Theatre,  Leeds Arts Council, and Auburn University Theatre and Dance. Some of her favorite past credits include Jaques in As You Like It, Mary Poppins in Mary Poppins,  Katherine in Newsies, and Mabel in The Pirates of Penzance.



Beyond her acting career, Kirsten is an advocate for individuals with disabilities. She has spent the last 3 summers at Camp ASCCA where she has provided 24/7 care for children and adults with physical and intellectual disabilities in a summer camp environment. After graduating in May, Kirsten plans on moving to Atlanta to pursue dance, acting, and a master's degree in secondary special education. She hopes to use her skills to foster inclusion and community for artists with disabilities.
